The 7 Policies
After nearly 30 years of examining human performance, existence, and ontology, Mo Hasan has designed these unique policies designed to work together for self-governance.
These policies serve as a framework for sane, responsible, and sustainable leadership.
What is a Policy?
Many business leaders have the negative definition of 'policy,' Far too often, policies are made to avoid bad behavior. Example: employees are running late to work frequently, so management creates a policy to punish those that are late.
Instead, we are referring to a policy as:
A rule, guideline, modality, or agreement designed to enforce good behavior.
Furthermore, these policies are designed for self-governance. That means the only person that can adopt them is you. The only person that enforces them is you. The only person who course corrects when you deviate from your path is you.
These policies were designed to give those of us that are present in our daily lives, are emotionally uptone, and seeking to create better conditions for ourselves, our families, and the world around us, access to a set of principles that will serve you through all of life's trials and tribulations.
When off track, returning to adherence to the policies can help you instantly get yourself back on the path of your intentions.
Please note: These policies are for you and you alone. They are designed be harmonious with your personal, spiritual, or religious beliefs, and the policies do not attempt to cross over to those sectors.
"Absolute freedom is chaos. Absolute control is a prison. Free minds need self-governance to operate at optimal conditions.
The 7 Policies are the framework for sanity, responsibility, and sustainability for modern leaders"
-Mo Hasan, Founder
Policy #1 - Remembering who I am
I am the spirit, possessing and controlling a body, experiencing contiguous emotional states, and utilizing an intelligence I call the mind.
I am the driver, not the car. I am the ghost in the machine.
Policy #2 - It's only true, if it's true for me
What is true is true today, and was true a thousand years ago, and it will be true a thousand years from now.
I am the only being on this planet, in this dimension, and in this time, qualified to recognize the truth. It is only true if it is true for me.
Furthermore, I will not submit to group think; and I will look and examine for myself.
Policy #3 - My standard for understanding
How do I know I am here in this dimension and communicating effectively with other beings?
My minimum standard for understanding is that I must be able to instantly produce a dictionary-quality definition of all the words, terms, and symbols I communicate in.
When I have an expanded understanding on the matter, I ought to be able to write books and give lectures on the words, terms, and symbols.
Policy #4 - My guiding principle for morality
I possess the ability to measure all of my actions as pro-survival and counter-survival on a gradient scale of rightness and wrongness across all dynamics of life.
As a moral intention, I will always strive to do the most pro-survival action across all the dynamics of life including myself, my family, the groups I belong to, all mankind, the animal kingdom, the physical universe, the spiritual universe, and the infinite
Policy #5 - I am, you are, we are... erroneous
I make mistakes, you make mistakes, and we make mistakes. Mistakes are one of the greatest learning experiences and help me grow as a human being.
For myself, I will not forgive myself for my mistakes because I choose not to be upset with myself. Instead, I will take responsibility for my mistakes.
Furthermore, I will take an iterative approach to my work--creating, delivering, collecting feedback, and improving my work.
For others with whom I choose to engage with, I will exercise compassion and understanding for their mistakes.
Policy #6 - My participation in Economic Exchange
There are four levels of economic change on a spiritual level. Economics being the study of particle flow. Exchange being the flow between two or more entities.
Level One - Criminal Exchange
At the lowest level, is criminal exchange. This is unidirectional particle flow.
Example: you go to a restaurant to order a burger listed for $1. The cashier takes your $1 and gives you nothing. This is also commonly known as theft.
Level Two - Partial Exchange
At the second level, is partial exchange. This is when there is a significant disparity between the two flows. One entity gives significantly more than other.
Example: you go to a restaurant to order a burger listed for $1. You get a burger, but the burger is subpar to the photo and description. You get less than you paid for.
Level Three - Fair Exchange
At the third level is fair exchange. This is the highest goal and achievement for average people. Commonly, it can also be thought of as tit-for-tat.
Example: you go to a restaurant to order a burger list for $1. You get a burger that looks like the photo and commensurate with the price.
Level Four - Exchange in Abundance
This policy gives a fresh perspective on where abundance comes from: I create it!
Example: you go to a restaurant to order a burger listed for $1. The cashier is friendly and personable. The restaurant is clean, well organized, and professionally operated. The food expo comes around the counter to personally hand you your tray. Your burger looks, smells, and tastes amazing! There's a little handwritten note from the cook that says "I love making burgers! 135th one today. Enjoy!"
As I'm finishing up my meal, the manager comes by to take your tray even though it's self-service and checks on my experience. I leave 5-star reviews with great photos on Google Maps and Yelp.
I invite friends to join me next time I'm at the restaurant. I keep bringing more people. The manager gives me a VIP card with a discount on my food. I continue to frequent the restaurant.
One day the manager invites me and my friends out to the restaurant for a special event. Turns out they have named a burger after me for being such a great customer. And the abundance continues and continues.
Policy #6: I choose to exchange in abundance with those that I choose to exchange with. Fair exchange is an indicator I am in a degraded condition.
Policy #7 - Just because I can, doesn't mean I should
As a powerful being, my life will be filled with an abundance of opportunities. Just because the opportunity exists and I can do that thing, does not mean I should.
I will align my actions with my values, intentions, understandings, truths, policies, and goals. I will exercise singular focus and pan-determination for optimal conditions of operating as a being.
